Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League final match-winner Brennan Johnson finds himself in an uncertain future in North London due to growing Premier League attention in the attacker.

It is understood that Tottenham, while not actively seeking to part with the Wales international, are receptive to a potential departure if they get a suitable bid.

The Eagles are presently the side most advanced in their interest for Johnson, but a number of sides are said to be keeping tabs on his status closely.

Last Campaign of Mixed Fortunes

Johnson was Spurs' leading Premier League scorer last season with eleven strikes, and secured his place in club history by netting the winner in their European final victory against United last season, bringing to a close the club's seventeen-year wait for a trophy.

However, the exit of Ange Postecoglou and appointment of the new head coach has meant Johnson playing more of a reduced role in the current campaign.

The 24-year-old, has been granted only six top-flight starts under Frank.

Consequently, a host of clubs have been made aware of his possible departure before the January transfer window.

Given his lack of action and the looming possibility of a global tournament on the horizon with his national team, a move away from Tottenham could benefit Johnson next month.

The attacker moved to Tottenham from Nottingham Forest in a deal valued at £47.5m in the summer of 2023 and has scored twenty-seven goals for the club.
